We have spacious classroom equipped with safety measure like fire extinguisher, LCD projector etc. we have well-ventilated classrooms with natural light, provide a conducive environment for learning. Every classroom has audio-visual facilities, public address system, display boards, lockers for students. We have effective physical layout of the classroom which promotes positive student teacher interaction.he Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled and all classrooms are equipped with a standard array of presentation equipment that provides our faculty with the best multimedia tools for their instructional needs.All the Classrooms have comfortable seating arrangement. We have proper temperature management in our classroom which is crucial in order to enable the students to focus on classroom learning without worrying about temperature conditions. We also ensure that every student receives individual attention from the teacher.

Nursing Foundation labNursing foundation lab is one which makes the imagination of hospital set up, and the students can study the procedures and all the things on dummy with the help of clinical instructors. These will help the students to reduce the stress and fear about the hospital environment. To provide comprehensive nursing care to the clients admitted in hospitals, student will be given preliminary training in patient care at the college laboratory. We have 5 beds, where each bed is provided with complete bed unit. There are 4 technologically advanced manikins, teaching and learning aids and various other equipment’s models, charts for the quality learning of the students.This Well – equipped laboratories offer to develop the technical skills through practical demonstrations before the students have clinical practice on patients

OBJECTIVES

• The actual part is attained if the students have imaginary set up of a fundamental lab.
• The teacher demonstrates the procedure of an environment in the hospital set up.
• The new students get direct experience to prepare themselves for hospital events.
• To explain the basic concept of conceptual and theoretical models of nursing.

ACTIVITIES

• The students are doing all basic nursing procedures like bed bath, CPR, IV cannula insertion, IV therapy, Hair care, etc.
• They are used to study the instruments which are used in hospitals, tray set up, maintaining aseptic technique during the procedure, etc.
• They are allowed to issue the articles for the procedure. This all activities are done for encouraging the students to be a functional nurse.

Community Health Nursing LabCommunity Health Nursing is the community oriented primary health care programme and the integration of community medicine with the primary health care of individual and community. A stimulated home environment allows nursing students to practice their common health skills in a life-like scenario.
It is designed for students to develop skills in primary care for the individual’s families and groups at both urban and rural settings.
The Lab equipped with well-arranged community bag for each candidate for treating minor health problems. The lab also equipped with various models, charts, necessary articles and instruments for health assessment.

• Students render comprehensive care to the individual family and community.

• Students are able to involve in community participation.
• Students develop IPR with the village leaders, community and other agencies.
• Students organize, assist and conduct health camp.
• Students organize; assist conduct the school health and child health programme.

FACILITIES

• our community lab is proper equipped and well furnished with healthy environment of learning.
• The lab consists of the all equipment for providing the basic care in term of primary health care like community bag, Maternity kit and others.
• The lab is arranged in such a manner that the student of the nursing programme can practice the procedure and make their effective A.V aids by using various charts displayed in community health care and education programme for raising the health status of individual.
• The college is providing all the necessary articles to student for their better understanding.

Nutrition LabThe subject nutrition is designed to assist the students to acquire knowledge for maintenance of optimum health at different stages of life. Our Nutrition lab is well established with all facilities for the preparation of different food items. Types of Diet as per the clients therapeutic Diet needs.We have well ventilated and well-furnishednutrition Lab. We have facilities in nutrition Lab. Like glassware articles, refrigerator, Mixture, Dinner Set, Dining Table with Chair, Table met, stove, weighting machine.

• To describe the classification, functions, sources and recommended daily allowance of Carbohydrates.
• To describe the sources, Functions, and requirements of water and electrolytes.

• To introduce students about Cookery rules and Preservation of nutrients.
• To prepare and serve simple beverages and different types of foods.
• To aware about principles, methods of cooking and serving.
• To give knowledge regarding calculation of balance diet for different categories of people.

Maternal and Child health nursing LabThe lab has well equipped instruments, Dummies, articles and other essential specimens as per INC requirements, which provides simulation and practice skills on various procedures to the students. MCH Lab gives an opportunity to become competent and more confident and less liable to commit accidents mistakes during their real practical situations.

OBJECTIVES

• To acquire knowledge and skills in reducing nursing care to normal &high risk pregnant woman during antenatal and postnatal periods.
• To develops skills in managing normal and high risk neonates and participate in family welfare programme.
To develop ability and skill for providing nursing care to mother and child.

Activities

• Demonstration of procedure:
• Draping & positioning the patient for gynaecological examination.
• Antenatal assessment.
• Demonstration of normal delivery.
• Physical assessment of newborn.
• Newborn baby bath.
• Care of newborn like eye care, cord care, feeding.
• To prepare posters & project related to antenatal diet, family planning, health education.
• To demonstrate resuscitation of newborn.
• To introduce students about instruments using for normal delivery, episiotomy and d & c, m.t.p
• To make the students able to prepare sterile trays like perineal care tray, suture removal tray, forceps delivery tray, vaginal examination tray & surgical trolley.

Pre clinical science labIt is designed to assist students in acquiring knowledge of the normal structure and physiology of various human body system. Lab is equipped with various models, specimens, skeleton and all kinds of bones, charts etc….

• To describe the structure and function of Nervous system and sensory organs.
• To describe the structure and function of Circulatory and Lymphatic System.
• To describe the structure and function of Respiratory and Digestive System.
• To describe the physiology of cell, tissue, membrane and glands.
• To describe the bone formation and growth and movement of skeleton system.
• To describe the physiology of blood and function of heart.
• To describe the physiology and mechanism & digestive system.
• To describe the physiology of Sensory organs &endocrine gland.

FACILITIES

• In our institute the Labs having proper lighting and good ventilation.
• The anatomy and physiology lab consist of all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, eye with different section, ear with different section, full set of dis articulated adult human skeleton, specimen like gall bladder with gall stones, cyst, appendix, normal uterus, placenta, uterus and sub mucus fibroid etc…and different charts of all the systems.
• The lab is well furnished in such a way that the students are able to acquire their knowledge through their different demonstration.

Our Library is the resource hub for knowledge and has a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, periodicalsour library is well ventilated, and spacious with comfortable sitting arrangements.Our of library is equipped with the most resourceful books, journals and learning resources to provide you with the most enlightening pool of knowledge. Our spacious reading spaces create an ambiance which inspires your reading senses, while at the same time satisfies your inquisitive elements.

LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Books issue and return timing 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (as per schedule). (Recess timing is 1 to 2)
• It is compulsory for all the students entering the Library to have I-Card with them.
• Visitors are not allowed to enter the Library without Principal’s permission.
• Each student will be issued two Library Card. It can be used to get the Library books for 7 days.
• Books may be kept up to last stamped date on the slip. If not returned within the date, an overdue charge of Rs. 5:00 per day will be levied on all library books. Fine must be paid immediately.
• Reference books are not to be issued [marked “Reference Books”]. These books are to be read in Library only.
• Furniture, Equipment and Library materials are not to be removed or displaced from their original location.

• The use of Mobile phone is strictly prohibited inside the Library.

• Smoking, eating, sleeping, drinking, talking sitting on the table or on the arms of the chair are strongly prohibited inside the Library.

• Students who postpone their studies or complete study are required to return all Library materials on loan and to take “No Due” certificate from Library

AV AIDS ROOMA V AIDS ROOM
Our AV aids room has all needed articles to give motivation to student and help teachers to teach student in a meaningful and smooth way, our various audio visual aids makes students to remember the concept for longer period of time. We believe that integrating technology into the classroom help students to experience things virtually or vicariously.

hostelThe institution provides safe comfortable residential hostel for student. the residential hostel is managed by a teacher- warden appointed by the principal. Our hostels are not only designed to provide you with the most comfortable stay during the course of your academics, they are also made to provide you with a feeling of home away from home.Our hostels have 24-hour water (hot water in winter), electric supply, etc. The hostel has a separate dining hall, common room, visitor room, reading room, store facility, recreation room & play area and washroom area within the hostel. The rooms are furnished. The mess is operated thrice a day at breakfast, at lunch and at dinner. In addition, the hostel also provides cooler for cold drinking water. Hostel area is beautifully surrounded by garden.our campus hostels are made in such a way which brings harmony amongst all, to ensure that you do not just live in the campus but you create a life within the campus.
