Women Development Cell
Introduction:
The Women’s Development Cell (WDC) was a statutory body for the prevention of and action against sexual harassment of women. The main objective of WDC was to look into the grievances of teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students, especially in cases of gender discrimination.
Aim:

To prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well- being of girl students and teaching and non –teaching female staff members.

To create legal awareness on specific issues concerning girls students and female staff members.

To provide carrier counselling.
Role and functions:

To protect girl-students against any type of harassment and to take appropriate actions if necessary.

To hold meeting with women development cell members whenever required
-
To organise various activities for girls and womens development.

To prevent any gender discrimination.
